Founded by the dynamic couple Lord Brian Dean and Veda Dean in 2017, what started as a mere AdTech (Advertising and Technology) agency, grew within a span of 3 years, to a Holding comprising of its own innovative solutions in the Tourism, Real Estate, Gaming, Training Institute, Adtech, IT Solutions, Edutech and Greentech Sector in Mauritius and is one of the fastest growing startups on the Island and recognized as the most innovative across Africa.
Panda and Wolf inculcates the principles of Creativity, Leadership and Innovation. Through value creation and value discovery, the Company cultivates and manages an outstanding investment portfolio with growth potential. At the same time, Panda & Wolf Holding pays high attention and gives full play to talents, and provides a career platform for its employees, all of which have greatly stimulated the corporate’s vitality for development.

Mission: Founded in 2017, Panda & Wolf Holding’s mission is to change the “Facon de faire” of traditional sectors through technological innovation. We define the success of our Clusters and projects not only on their turnover but also on their social impact. Our Goal is to be the Youngest, Profitable, Impactful and Innovative Holding in Mauritius by 2025.
Vision: Being one of the most innovative startups in Mauritius, Panda & Wolf Holding’s vision is to become a leading technological company on the African continent. We aim at being the bridge between Asia, Africa and Europe with innovative and impactful projects while always keeping Human Beings at heart
Timeline
Standing at the forefront of Innovation, from an Advertising Agency in 2017, Panda & Wolf evolved into a holding with subsidiaries in technological solutions, Tourism, Real Estate, Education through Gamification and GreenTech.
2017 (Beginning of activities in Mauritius):
Beginning of activities in Mauritius as an AdTech Agency. Offering different services in advertising, design, Mobile App and Web development through technological innovations to ensure the effective communication between organizations and their target markets. Keeping innovation and creativity at the centre of their daily operations, little did they know that they were about to be ranked among the most innovative startups across the African continent.
2018 (Bringing the first ever Travel Media in Mauritius):
Marked the launch of Discover Mauritius™, the first ever offline Travel Media which promotes the beauty and culture of Mauritius. Discover Mauritius™ is an all-in-one app which allows you to book your accommodations and flights, rent a car, have at your fingertips the best restaurants and shopping addresses as well as an insight of the events happening in Mauritius. In 2018 Panda & Wolf Holding came up with the first digital historic trail which featured historical places in Mauritius. Thanks to the proximity of geo-beacons, this digital trail allowed people to view pictures and learn about the historical places of Mauritius. The same year, Discover Mauritius™ was awarded the Best Mobile App Awards US and the BCME Awards Africa.
2019 (Organised the first Gaming Conference in Mauritius)
Panda & Wolf Holding came up with GameCon, the first ever conference entirely dedicated to the video game industry. Keeping technological innovation at heart, in 2019 Panda & Wolf Holding launched Homepanda, the first ever geo-located app for the real estate industry in Mauritius, to optimize your property search. September of the same year was the official launch of the first eco-conscious game 100% Made in Moris, Eco-Warriors™. With Eco-Warriors™ being amongst the local nominees for the Seedstars Award and Discover Mauritius™ being the proud holder of two SAS Awards for the Best Newcomer and Best Media Partner, 2019 was an award-winning year! Representing women entrepreneurs in Africa, our Co-Founder Veda Dean also won the “Best Women Led Sustainable IT Innovation” for Eco-Warriors™ for Women in Tech Africa.
2020 (From Advertising Agency to Holding):
Marked the start of Panda & Wolf’s restructuration into a holding company. In 2020 Discover Mauritius™ had its first joint venture with CareerHub. Designed in Mauritius, the “CareerHub powered by Discover Mauritius™” brings forward the best technological expertise with a Geolacted mobile application for Job finding. Concerned by marine life, Panda & Wolf Holding designed the Eco-blocks, an environmentally friendly block dedicated to the protection and conservation of the marine environment. Thirsty for innovation, end of 2020, PW Lab was set in motion! A Training Centre providing innovative and industry relevant courses. 2020 brought us in the top 10 winners of the AIS Innovation Challenge by UNDP.
2021 (No to plastic and paperwork)
Kicking off 2021 with HR Tools is the first Mauritian automated Employee Administrative Management System (EAMS) designed by Panda & Wolf Holding, that manages employees information and which eases the monthly CSG filing contribution. Being fully automated with a cloud-based system, HR Tools requires no installation and is easily accessible on any device through an internet connection. Start of the “EcoPads” project, which is to manufacture sanitary pads made with hemp gel and biodegradable plastic. Eco-friendly and affordable, the EcoPads contain no chemical substances.
